Cindy Mazgaj has been with BDO since 2003. Starting almost straight out of college she began her career at BDO in entry level positions. This time allowed her to learn everything she could in every area she could. Cindy completed the Insolvency Counsellor’s Qualification Course in 2007 to make her a qualified insolvency counsellor. With this knowledge she took on the role of credit counsellor. Meeting face to face with people who are struggling through one of the most difficult periods of their life and being able to help, even in a small way is what drives Cindy to continue to be a part of the process that the team at BDO pride themselves in. In 2014 Cindy became a qualified administrator completing the CAIRP Insolvency Administrators Course – with a half decent grade too! With her years of experience and desire to learn everything she can, Cindy has the knowledge to administer a file from start to finish and will happily explain everything until her clients no longer have questions.
Cindy moved to Barrie as a child and has watched this city grow with her. Participating in many local events such as the CIBC Run for the Cure and The Rotary Fun Run, these help Cindy to be out in the community and really get into the life of the city. Having organized a few Heart & Stroke Big Bike Rides for the BDO office these events keep them active after long days at their desks! As a proud member of the BDO Barrie team, Cindy strives to ensure that everyone that she comes in contact with receives the same courtesy and respect that she would expect in that same position.
